Taking the first step toward therapy can feel vulnerable — especially when you’ve carried so much on your own. Whether you’re curious about weekly therapy, interested in trauma-focused intensives, or seeking EMDR consultation, I’d be honored to connect and answer any questions.
You don’t need to have the “right” words or a perfectly organized story.
Just bring yourself. I’ll meet you there.

No. You never have to share details you’re not ready to talk about.
Both EMDR and ART allow you to process trauma without retelling the whole story. Many clients feel relief precisely because they don’t have to revisit painful memories verbally. -
We start with a free, 15-minute consultation. It’s a simple, pressure-free conversation to get to know each other, ask questions, and see if my approach feels right for you. You don’t need to prepare anything — just show up as you are.

EMDR helps you reprocess traumatic memories by engaging both hemispheres of the brain. It’s highly effective for trauma, anxiety, grief, and long-standing emotional patterns.
ART uses eye movements and visualization to quickly reduce the emotional distress around a memory — without needing to talk through the details. Most sessions feel gentle, contained, and surprisingly efficient. Both are evidence-based trauma therapies. We’ll discuss which one fits your goals and nervous system best.

A trauma intensive is a longer therapy session (typically 3–6 hours) focused on deeper trauma processing in a short period of time.
Clients often choose intensives when they want:
• faster progress
• focused work on a specific memory or issue
• relief from feeling stuck
• a structured, immersive healing experienceIntensives are private-pay and start at $750, and we always begin with a pre-intensive consultation.
-
Yes. I accept BCBS PPO and United PPO for weekly therapy.
Trauma intensives are private pay only. -
Yes — I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy for clients anywhere in Illinois. Many people prefer doing trauma work from a familiar, comfortable environment.
-
Although I have experience with all ages, my practice is currently focused on adults seeking trauma therapy, intensives, or EMDR consultation.
-
That’s completely normal — and actually a sign of how much you care about your healing. You’re welcome to bring your hesitations to our consultation or first session. We’ll move at whatever pace feels right for you.
